History:
Zaranikas Music Store was founded in 1986 and focused on selling classical and modern musical instruments. We have ever since been the representator of the biggest companies of the field in Greece but soon enough our founders' (Christos and Vasilis) love for the traditional and folk greek and eastern music revealed the need for further exploiting these fields of musical instruments market. We immediately hit the ground by importing specific goods from eastern countries such as Turkey, India etc. like Ouds, Kanuns and many others as well as by establishing strong cooperations with greek manufacturers for our domestic instruments such as Bouzouki, Baglamas etc. As a result, we were very soon regarded as the leader in greek market regarding these instruments. Our partnerships with the most famous makers and top artists (like the kanun player H. Karaduman) aided us to further understand and evolve this kind of instruments as well as form a well-respected workshop aiding professionals and students on daily basis. Last but not least, a publishing house was established to cover the needs of wider knowledge for these instruments.
Today:
Zaranikas Music Store keeps on being the leader of the world instruments field all around Greece as well as a dealer of the biggest companies around the globe. What is more, the last few years our export rates all around Europe have impressively increased being the result of the all time increasing demand of world music instruments. Our workshop is considered to be the most organised and professional in our country and our consumer-centric policies highlighted us as one of Balkans' leaders.
