Do the products in zaranikas.gr come with a warranty?
I am sorry but what did you expect? How will I be sure that you will use my unique products for years to come? The vast majority of the products I have posted at my website, come with an official warranty of the distributor responsible for them in the greek market. The warranty time for each product is mentioned at each product's page. In some cases that I am not satisfied with the time of the official warranty I automatically offer an extension. In general, the products I choose to offer come with a warranty from 1 year to even 15 years!
What is the Zaranikas Golden Warranty that I have read about?
The Golden Warranty.. It must have my triple years. At some point, a long long time before long-standing warranties appeared on the global market, Zaranikas Music Store promoted that the products they imported and marketed under their brand name were of such good quality that they could offer up to a 5-year warranty on musical instruments and a 50% discount on their workshop price list for repairs related to that instrument. Later, a third parameter was added, which was an additional discount off the purchase price of the related parts to the previous repairs.
See how it works in detail:
- It concerns musical instruments manufacturer Zaranikas
- 2 years warranty for instruments worth more than 300,00€
- 5 years warranty for instruments worth more than 1500,00€
- 50% discount on the pricelist of Zaranikas' workshop
- Regardless of the value of the musical instrument, additional 10% discount from the online price on "Zaranikas" spare parts and consumables (related to the specific instrument) for 1 year
What is the product warranty?
Now let's get down to the very important basics. Product warranty means that if you buy directly (not through resale from a third party) from the physical or online store of my friends at Zaranikas Music Store, you are guaranteed that the products are free from defects due to the materials that formed it or the workmanship in assembling it. During the warranty period, the company that has the patronage (the Greek representative of the manufacturer in question) will repair or replace the defective product at its own discretion without any charge for labour or spare parts. The company has the exclusive right to determine at its sole discretion the manner, time and place of the repair of the product.
Also, it is very important to know that the presentation of proof of purchase of the product (retail sales receipt, purchase invoice, etc.) is necessary and the transport and / or possible insurance of the products to be repaired either to the company or to Zaranikas Music Store is at the customer's risk and expense. Finally, please note that in order to achieve the safest possible transport, products sent for repair must be carefully and securely packed in their original packaging.
In which cases is the product warranty not valid?
The only reason for not being eligible for warranty service will be if you do not maintain or use the product properly. For this reason, please always carefully read the instructions manual of the product you are purchasing (where provided) and follow the information provided by the Zaranikas Music Store techs for the effective maintenance of your musical instrument. The information contained in these documents addresses the proper use or assembly and maintenance of each product. In cases where this is not provided by the manufacturer, I suggest that you contact my friends directly to help you with the necessary instructions and clarifications.
Therefore, the warranty does not apply to damage resulting from:
- Negligence (e.g. damage from acid battery leaks)
- Misuse
- Use contrary to the specifications specified by the manufacturer (poor installation, dropping, exposure to temperature extremes, damage caused by changes in the network of the power supply company)
- Any repair or modification made outside the Zaranikas Music Store technical support center
- The manufacturing number (serial number) or distinctive marks of the device have been altered, changed or removed
Finally, I should inform you that the invoice of the purchase acts as proof of warranty and the date of commencement is the date of issue of the aforementioned document.
